BRONXVILLE, NY — June 4, 2026 — The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe celebrated the 40th Annual Community Fund Golf Tournament on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, marking four decades of charitable impact and community partnership through this event.
The milestone event raised nearly $110,000 in support of The Community Fund’s annual campaign, which benefits 17 local nonprofit agencies and more than 40 health, wellness, and social service programs serving thousands of residents across Bronxville, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe. As part of the ongoing commitment to supporting high-quality, award winning emergency medical services for local residents, The Community Fund announced it will once again make a major, $180,000 grant to EVAC this summer toward the purchase of the next new state-of-the-art ambulance for the community.
This year’s tournament sold out in just nine days — the fastest sellout on record — and welcomed 116 golfers, including more than 60 first-time participants. Dinner guests, community leaders, sponsors, and members of The Community Fund Board of Directors joined together to celebrate the organization’s legacy of local giving.
Fittingly themed “An anniversary unlike any other…,” the event featured a full day of golf, networking, on-course contests, and live and silent auctions. The live auction included rounds at some of the nation’s most prestigious golf clubs, including Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, Winged Foot Golf Club, Baltusrol Golf Club, Sleepy Hollow Country Club, The Fall Line, Bald Peak Colony Club, and The Misquamicut Club among others.
The tournament was chaired by Community Fund Board President Chris Bush and Justin Griffin alongside co-chairs Brad and Jennifer Siegert; Bill and Patricia Knox; Andy Formato; and Noble and Mariellen Carpenter. Warm thanks go to Community Fund Board Members John and Beth Atsalis; Francesco Clark and Alberto Mihelcic Bazzana; Holly and Ben Collier; Lisa and Keith Dawson; Matt and Kerry Foster; Andrew and Samantha Gibson; Caitlin and Peter Greatrex; Lisa Hery; Stephen and Heather Lamberton; Beth Larkin and Michael McKeighan, Jr.; Michelle and Jack Meyercord; Pamela Morrisroe; Katrina and Christopher Nay; Sarah and Ted Normand; Maria and Tony Sayegh; Darla Silva and William New; and Donato and Amanda Vaccaro for their support of the event through sponsorships, auction donations, participation, and event-day leadership. We also extend our gratitude to Jeff Ungvary and Katelin O’Rourke Gorman, this year’s auctioneers.
The Community Fund extends sincere appreciation to the sponsors whose continued partnership plays a vital role in advancing The Community Fund’s mission each year:
The Community Fund doesn’t just support our work — it makes it possible. Their fundraising has enabled EVAC to purchase a new state-of-the-art ambulance every three years for decades, ensuring our community has access to reliable, lifesaving emergency medical care. The golf tournament plays a critical role in sustaining this critical support.
The 40th anniversary of this tournament is a remarkable achievement. It reflects the enduring generosity and civic spirit that define Bronxville and our neighboring communities.
The Community Fund has long been a cornerstone of support for organizations serving Eastchester residents. This tournament is not only a celebration, but a powerful driver of community impact.
The strength of a community is measured by how it cares for its people. In Tuckahoe, we are grateful that The Community Fund has helped ensure that our residents have had access to the support they need for over a century. This 40-year tournament tradition is a testament to the generosity, civic spirit, and shared responsibility that define our community.
Reaching our 40th year is an incredible milestone. This event represents the very best of our community coming together to support neighbors in need. We are grateful to everyone who has helped make this tournament such a meaningful tradition over the past four decades.
