Chris and his wife, Ashley, both grew up in Bronxville, where they attended The Bronxville School from K-12 and, following early careers in NYC, moved back to the Village in 2020. Chris has been a board member for 5 years and is civically active across Bronxville, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe where his focus is strengthening community ties and building a sustained local impact through The Community Fund. He is a CFA charterholder and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan, where he has spent his 15 year career managing investments and advising private clients.
John K. Atsalis is a managing director at Columbia Investment Management Company, which manages the endowment on behalf of Columbia University. He joined the team in 2019. Prior to his current role, he was an investor in the Tufts University Investment Office. John earned his B.S with concentrations in Quantitative Economics and International Relations from Tufts University in 2011. He is a CFA Charterholder and has held a Private Pilot Certificate since 2014. He and his wife and son reside in Bronxville, NY and are parishioners at St. Joseph’s Church.
Sal has held several leadership positions for professional healthcare organizations and has advised on strategic initiatives, provided guidance on the financial impact of regulatory changes on service lines and programs, and served in interim management roles for organizations during corporate reorganizations and financial restructurings. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and private placements, and has assisted clients raise capital for acquisitions and growth initiatives. Sal is currently the Treasurer of an early-stage medical device company.
Samantha is a Managing Director and VP of Product at S&P Global, overseeing the product portfolio spanning Capital Markets Issuance, Regulatory Solutions, and AI within the Market Intelligence division. Previously, she has held senior product, business, and corporate development roles at Amazon Web Services and Bloomberg LP. Samantha is a CFA Charterholder, a Fellow at the Aspen Institute Business & Society Program, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Samantha and her husband Andrew moved to the area in 2021 and enjoy all things outdoors, including skiing, golfing, and hiking with their dog Hemingway.
Marc recently retired after 45 years at ABC News, where his work earned multiple awards including Emmys, Peabodys and DuPonts. For the last 28 years, he was the Senior Executive Producer responsible for all breaking news and political coverage on the television network. Prior to that, Marc was Executive Producer of Good Morning America and held many other leadership and production positions during his tenure. His career was also honored with an induction to the Gold Circle of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Marc is currently consulting for media personalities and companies.
Marc and his wife, Lori, have lived in Bronxville since 1999 and their three children all attended The Bronxville School. Marc and his black lab, Hudson, also volunteer and perform healing therapy in the area through The Good Dog Foundation.
Francesco Clark is the founder/CEO of Clark’s Botanicals, a clean skincare company known for its science-backed innovation and global impact. A longtime Bronxville resident, Francesco moved to the village in 1989 and is a proud graduate of Bronxville High School, Class of 1996, having attended the elementary, middle, and high schools.
He holds dual degrees from Johns Hopkins University, where he now serves on the Alumni Council, and is a board member of the New York Stem Cell Foundation. He is the author of the memoir Walking Papers and serves as a national ambassador for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. Francesco is honored to support The Community Fund and its mission to serve and strengthen the community that helped shape him.
Holly is an experienced fundraiser and consultant with a demonstrated history of success within the nonprofit and philanthropy sectors. She has deep experience in global campaign management, principal and major gifts strategy and execution, board engagement, and strategic planning.
Over her fourteen years at CCS Fundraising, a fundraising consultancy, Holly has worked with nonprofit organizations from the education, thinktank, advocacy, healthcare, conservation, arts, and international development fields. Her client work has ranged from community-based to international in scope, with fundraising goals ranging from $15 million to over $3 billion. Clients include UNICEF, The Nature Conservancy, Médecins Sans Frontières USA, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, NAACP, MIT Schwarzman College of Computing and Barnard College. Holly received her AB in East Asian Studies from Princeton University, MA in Chinese Studies from SOAS University of London, and MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
Tammy has been an active volunteer in the Bronxville community since moving to the area in 2003. She has served on the boards of The Bronxville Field Club, Concordia Conservatory, and the Junior League of Bronxville. Tammy was active in the Bronxville School as class parent, grade chair, and PTA Treasurer. She has also given her time as a volunteer for the Destination College program at Mount Vernon High School.
Prior to dedicating herself to her family and community, Tammy worked in finance for The Los Angeles Times. She has a degree in Economics from Colgate University. Tammy lives in Bronxville with her husband Chip. They have two sons.
Matt Foster lives in Bronxville with his wife, Kerry, children, Stella and Grant, as well as his dog, George. Currently, Matt is a principal at The Colony Group, a wealth advisory firm, and is responsible for managing the Greenwich, CT office. Matt is also co-chair of The Colony Group’s DEI Committee. Previously, Matt was a Director at Geller Advisors LLC and Vice President at Bessemer Trust. He began his career practicing law in Miami, FL, and prior to that, covering small college and high school sports for The Boston Globe. Matt earned a JD / MBA from the University of Miami and a BA from Northeastern University. He is admitted to practice law in the states of California and Florida.
Katherine Grant was born and raised in Bronxville and graduated from The Bronxville School in 2005. After college and several years living in Manhattan, Katherine and her husband, James, returned to Bronxville in 2019. Their children, Mackenzie and Brendan, are now students in the Elementary School.
Katherine works as a Senior Portfolio Manager at LGT Capital Partners. She has spent her career in the investment management industry since graduating from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
As a lifelong member of the Bronxville community, Katherine is grateful for the opportunity to support The Community Fund and its noteworthy mission.
Caitlin has a Ph.D. in Economics from Fordham University and teaches economics at Iona University. She has also taught economics and statistics at Fordham University. Before pursuing her Ph.D., Caitlin worked in financial services, where she trained managers and executives in statistical and project management techniques.
Caitlin grew up in the Bronxville-Eastchester-Tuckahoe community and moved back to the area in 2004. She and her husband, Peter, have three children who have all attended the Bronxville School. Prior to joining the board, Caitlin served as an agency evaluator for The Community Fund and on the Executive Board of the Bronxville PTA.
Justin is a Founding Partner of Derne Street Capital, a real estate investment and development firm specializing in the repositioning of commercial and residential assets in legacy markets. He is also a Principal at Merrimack Potomac + Charles, a strategic communications and public affairs consultancy. In 2022 Justin was appointed by the Governor of Massachusetts to serve on the Board of Directors for MassVentures, the commonwealth-backed venture capital firm focused on accelerating innovation and economic growth in Massachusetts. Justin previously held senior roles on both political campaigns and at marketing agencies. He holds an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Clark University. Justin lives in Bronxville with his wife and their two dogs.
Lisa joined the Healthcare industry as a Senior Project Manager with Montefiore Medical Center 9 years ago. Prior to this, she had a 20+ year career in global investment banking. She is the current Secretary of the Advisory Board for Eastchester Community Action Program. She is a prior longtime Board Member of Heartsong, a music and heart therapy organization which was based in Bronxville. Her past fundraising involvement with local organizations, include The Counseling Center, Gramatan Village, Westchester ARC, and a Cancer Support Team. Having lived in Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville for most of her life, she is now a resident of Tuckahoe.
Stephen Lamberton and his wife Heather have been Bronxville residents since 2012. Stephen has coached his four children in the Eastchester Youth Soccer Association and various flag football leagues. Professionally, Stephen is a growth stage consumer CFO and has held leadership positions at companies including Bespoke Post, Thinx and Fresh Direct.
Beth Larkin resides in Bronxville, New York with her husband, Mike and son, Michael. Michael will be a freshman in the Bronxville School in the Fall. Beth has been a resident of Bronxville since 2002. In addition to the Community Fund, she sits on the Board of the New Rochelle Basketball Association mentoring adolescents.
Beth is a Vice President and Corporate Governance Officer of the Asset Management Division for Morgan Stanley, a position she has held for three years. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Beth was with The Bank of New York Mellon for 24 years as a Product Specialist/Analyst.
Nick and his wife, Jessica, have lived in Bronxville with their three children since 2019. He is a Portfolio Manager at Balyasny Asset Management. Nick earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia University.
Michelle is an experienced senior executive with strategic and business management skills to develop new businesses, new markets, partnerships and growth initiatives both domestically and internationally. She is a current board member of Zero to Three.
Pam began her career in marketing over 30 years ago in the advertising industry. She is currently the Chief Marketing Officer of Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF).
Pam has been a Bronxville resident since 2014. Pam volunteered for The Community Fund as an agency evaluator before becoming a board member where she can blend her marketing expertise with her passion and commitment to our community.
Katrina received a BA in Psychology from Vanderbilt University and an MSW from Columbia University. After working in direct practice for several years, she transitioned to working in development for organizations focused on children and education.
Katrina and her husband, Chris, have lived in Bronxville since 2013 and have two children who attend The Bronxville School. In addition to serving as an evaluator for the Community Fund for the past four years, her volunteer interests include alumni engagement for Vanderbilt University and a variety of roles within the Bronxville School PTA, including serving on the Executive Board as PTA Treasurer.
Sarah recently retired from the U.S. Department of Justice, where she served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York and in various supervisory positions for over 25 years. She is currently an adjunct professor at Fordham University School of Law. Sarah and her husband Ted have lived in Bronxville since 2005. They have three children who have attended the Bronxville School.
Maria is a lifelong resident of the Town of Eastchester, where she was born and raised, and continues to raise her family. Maria previously served as a Village of Tuckahoe Trustee and has been deeply involved in her four sons’ education, serving as a member of the Tuckahoe PTA and President of the Mothers’ Auxiliary at Iona Preparatory School.
In the aftermath of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, Maria was appointed by Governor George E. Pataki to the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, and she also joined the Advisory Board of Tuesday’s Children, which supports the children of 9/11 victims. Maria and her family are parishioners of St. Joseph’s Church in Bronxville and support numerous charities, including The Community Fund, Radical Hope, The Robin Hood Foundation, and Project Reach.
Donato Vaccaro resides in Eastchester and works as a licensed psychologist at LifeStance Health and as a business development executive at Verasight, a market research firm. His work spans 3 decades as a social scientist and mental health care provider. For more than twenty years, Donato volunteered in the Eastchester community coaching youth sports. He has also helped with the local census and currently serves on Eastchester’s Traffic Parking and Advisory Committee.
Donato hails from one of the largest and oldest families in Eastchester, with roots tracing back over 100 years to his four grandparents who settled in Tuckahoe and Eastchester.
Outside of work, Donato enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and biking. He also appreciates dining out and listening to local live music with friends and family.
Julia graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management. Following graduation, she built a successful career in the financial services industry, beginning at Merrill Lynch and most recently serving as a Director at Summit Rock Advisors until 2024. Over the course of more than a decade, she worked with both high-net-worth families and charitable institutions, providing thoughtful, personalized service to help them navigate their financial needs.
Julia and her husband moved to Bronxville in 2021 where they are raising their two children who attend The Reformed Church Nursery School. She is currently taking a career pause to focus on her family and to support her local community.
Matt began his ministry at The Reformed Church in October 2018. Previously, he served for 10 years as Senior Minister of the First Reformed Church in South Holland, IL, a suburb of Chicago. During his time there, he also served as chaplain to the South Holland Fire Department and an adjunct faculty member at Trinity Christian College in neighboring Palos Heights, IL. He is the author of the book “Dear Church: Letters to My First Church,” as well as many articles, blogs and podcasts.
Ordained in the RCA and a native of Holland, MI, Matt graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Hope College, and holds Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry degrees from Western Theological Seminary. In Bronxville, Matt is very active in Bronxville Youth Football, the Bronxville Youth Basketball Association and in youth baseball through the Tuckahoe Youth Association. He has been married to his bride, Sarah, for 19 years and together have a current 9th and 6th Grader at The Bronxville School.
Shannon McDonough comes to The Community Fund equipped with over 20 years leading strategic institutional initiatives across private, academic, and nonprofit sectors. Most recently she scaled operations and led digital and marketing strategy for national service organization Lifetime Arts, a 501c3 that catalyzes and connects the people, funding, practical strategies, and bold ideas necessary to embrace all older adults as creative and social learners. While at Lifetime Arts Shannon collaborated with The Institute for Museum and Library Sciences; the American Alliance of Museums; the National Assembly of State Arts agencies; the Michelson Foundation; the MetLife Foundation; a variety of state libraries, arts, aging, and veterans’ services agencies; as well as NYC-based foundations such as the Fan Fox and Leslie R. Samuels Foundation, and the Laurie M. Tisch Foundation.
Previously Shannon led digital strategy, talent development, and communications roles at Harvard Business Publishing, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, Harvard Law School, Stonehill College, Conde Nast Publications, and DDB Worldwide/Omnicom Group Inc. Shannon holds a MS in library and information science from Simmons University, and a BA in English Literature from Stonehill College. Prior to moving to Tuckahoe, Shannon lived in Massachusetts for a dozen years, did stints in Southern California and Brooklyn, and is originally from Pelham, NY.
