In mid-December, Concordia Conservatory announced the Music, Art & Movement Therapy Program, open to Special Education students from all BET schools. Within 48 hours, the program was fully subscribed with Concordia adding an extra session to handle overflow.
“We are thrilled to bring this innovative tuition-free Adaptive Music, Art, and Movement Program to the Special Education students of Bronxville, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe,” said Kathleen Suss, Executive Director of Concordia Conservatory. “Thanks to generous annual support from The Community Fund, our talented faculty can provide creative, small-group sessions that nurture social, emotional, and developmental growth. This program reflects our commitment to making the transformative power of the arts accessible to every child – building a stronger, more inclusive community.”
