Chris Bush
President

Chris grew up in Bronxville, where he attended the Bronxville schools K-12 and recently moved back to the area from Manhattan. He is a Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan, where he has 10 years of industry experience managing investment portfolios and advising private clients. Chris brings project management strength and experience in fiduciary governance to the board is eager to promote local community-building events.

Anne Sekula

Vice President

Anne is an experienced nonprofit and philanthropic professional. During her career, she was responsible for over $30 million in grant making and has managed project and organizational budgets totaling $15 million. Anne’s clients, grant sponsors, or employers include a variety of Foundations, Nonprofits, and Government initiatives including The Chan Zuckerberg Foundation, The National Science Foundation, Carnegie Mellon University, The Carnegie Corporation, Chevron and Arconic Foundations, Bank of New York Mellon, The Heinz Endowments, The Erie Community Foundation, the Pennsylvania Governor’s STEM Advisory, and The West Virginia Public Education Collaborative. Anne is a graduate of Harvard’s Graduate School of Education and The University of Virginia.

Salvatore Renzo

Treasurer

Sal has held several leadership positions for professional healthcare organizations and has advised on strategic initiatives, provided guidance on the financial impact of regulatory changes on service lines and programs, and served in interim management roles for organizations during corporate reorganizations and financial restructurings. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and private placements, and has assisted clients raise capital for acquisitions and growth initiatives. Sal is currently the Treasurer of an early-stage medical device company.

Sarah Normand

Secretary

Sarah is an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, where she currently serves as Deputy Chief of the Civil Division. She represents the United States and its agencies and officials in a wide range of civil litigation. Sarah and her husband Ted have lived in Bronxville since 2005. They have three children who have attended the Bronxville School.

John Atsalis

Investments Chair

John K. Atsalis is a managing director at Columbia Investment Management Company, which manages the endowment on behalf of Columbia University. He joined the team in 2019. Prior to his current role, he was an investor in the Tufts University Investment Office. John earned his B.S with concentrations in Quantitative Economics and International Relations from Tufts University in 2011. He is a CFA Charterholder and has held a Private Pilot Certificate since 2014. He and his wife and son reside in Bronxville, NY and are parishioners at St. Joseph’s Church.

Jessica Benjamin

Jessica is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She has worked in advertising as an account executive and as a writer/producer in TV news. More recently, she has volunteered with Destination: College in the Cooney College Center and with the girls’ volleyball team at Mount Vernon High School. She has also served as a Board Member of the Bronxville Field Club and Concordia Conservatory.

Jessica enjoys being an active member of the film club at The Picture House, stitch nights at Bargello Needlepoint in Tuckahoe, and the Boulder Ledge Garden Club. Jessica has lived in Bronxville since 2001 with her husband, Jim, and their four children.

Laura Busker

Special Events Co-Chair

For the past decade, Laura’s focus has been on her community and family. She has been an active volunteer in many capacities including: serving on the Board for Directors of CASA NYC (an advocate for children in foster-care); serving in a variety of roles as a Junior League volunteer (20 years of service), and as a trained Crisis Text Line volunteer. Additionally, within the immediate BET community, Laura has served as an Evaluator for The Community Fund, a MS Council Member, and recently became a deacon at the Reform Church.

Prior to focusing her time and resources on the community, she worked at American Express and as a portfolio manager for the Tramell Crow family fund, Crow Holdings. Laura has a MBA from The University of Texas and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University. Laura grew up in Texas and moved to Bronxville in 2018 after almost a decade in NYC. She and her husband, David, have two children who attend the Bronxville School.

Lisa Dawson

Lisa Dawson has been an active volunteer in the community since moving from England in 2001. She spent many years fundraising for the Bronxville High School drama department and assisting backstage for dozens of Bronxville High School plays and musicals. Lisa has served as a board member of Concordia Conservatory, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and as Community Fund Evaluator. Lisa received a BA in English from the University of Richmond, UK, and a JD from the University of Hertfordshire, UK. She currently works with a team of labor and employment attorneys in New York City. Lisa and her husband, Keith, have three children who graduated from The Bronxville School.

Matthew Foster

Campaign Vice Chair

Matt Foster lives in Bronxville with his wife, Kerry, children, Stella and Grant, as well as his dog, George. Currently, Matt is a principal at The Colony Group, a wealth advisory firm, and is responsible for managing the Greenwich, CT office. Matt is also co-chair of The Colony Group’s DEI Committee. Previously, Matt was a Director at Geller Advisors LLC and Vice President at Bessemer Trust. He began his career practicing law in Miami, FL, and prior to that, covering small college and high school sports for The Boston Globe. Matt earned a JD / MBA from the University of Miami and a BA from Northeastern University. He is admitted to practice law in the states of California and Florida.

Caitlin Greatrex

Evaluations Co-Chair

Caitlin has a Ph.D. in Economics from Fordham University, where she currently teaches statistics and economics. She has also taught economics at Iona College. Before pursuing her Ph.D., Caitlin worked in financial services, where she trained managers and executives in statistical and project management techniques.

Caitlin grew up in the Bronxville-Eastchester-Tuckahoe community and moved back to the area in 2004. She and her husband, Peter, have three children who attend the Bronxville School. She has been an active volunteer in many capacities, including serving on the Executive Board of the Bronxville PTA. As an evaluator for The Community Fund for the past four years, Caitlin has seen first-hand the impact The Fund has made on the most vulnerable members of our community and is excited to increase her contributions to such a worthy organization.

Elizabeth A. "Lisa" Hery

Special Events Co-Chair

Lisa joined the Healthcare industry as a Senior Project Manager with Montefiore Medical Center 9 years ago. Prior to this, she had a 20+ year career in global investment banking. She is the current Secretary of the Advisory Board for Eastchester Community Action Program. She is a prior longtime Board Member of Heartsong, a music and heart therapy organization which was based in Bronxville. Her past fundraising involvement with local organizations, include The Counseling Center, Gramatan Village, Westchester ARC, and a Cancer Support Team. Having lived in Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville for most of her life, she is now a resident of Tuckahoe.

Joanne E. Johnson

Joanne E. Johnson is a Managing Director for the J.P. Morgan U.S. Private Bank and has served as head of its national Wealth Advisory, Trusts and Estates, and Law Firm Groups. Joanne received a B.A. from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) and her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law. Joanne is a trusts and estates and tax lawyer who practiced in New York City prior to joining JPMorgan. She specializes in developing strategies for holding, managing and transferring wealth tax efficiently and across generations for the firm’s ultra high net worth clients.

Joanne is a frequent lecturer and author on wealth management issues. She is a regularly quoted source to financial publications and has been a repeat guest on news and financial television shows. Joanne is a member of and leader of several advisory committees supporting exempt organizations in the arts, healthcare and her alma mater.

Since 2017, Joanne has resided in Bronxville with her husband, Ed Reilly, and her now 16 year old twins, rising juniors at Bronxville High School. Her family are enthusiastic members of the Bronxville community. Her husband just completed his term as Co-Chair of the Bronxville NPC and her daughter, Elle, is a member of the Youth Community Fund.

Stephen Lamberton

Stephen Lamberton and his wife Heather have been Bronxville residents since 2012. Stephen has coached his four children in the Eastchester Youth Soccer Association and various flag football leagues. Professionally, Stephen is a growth stage consumer CFO and has held leadership positions at companies including Bespoke Post, Thinx and Fresh Direct.

Beth Larkin

Youth Community Fund Co-Chair

Beth Larkin resides in Bronxville, New York with her husband, Mike and son, Michael. Michael will be a freshman in the Bronxville School in the Fall. Beth has been a resident of Bronxville since 2002. In addition to the Community Fund, she sits on the Board of the New Rochelle Basketball Association mentoring adolescents.

Beth is a Vice President and Corporate Governance Officer of the Asset Management Division for Morgan Stanley, a position she has held for three years. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Beth was with The Bank of New York Mellon for 24 years as a Product Specialist/Analyst.

Michelle Meyercord

Michelle is an experienced senior executive with strategic and business management skills to develop new businesses, new markets, partnerships and growth initiatives both domestically and internationally. She is a current board member of Zero to Three.

Pam Morrisroe

Pam began her career in Experiential and Field Marketing over 25 years ago. She is currently the Managing Director of VMLY&R Commerce’s New York office and leads the North American Experiential Practice. Over the years, Pam has developed and led integrated marketing campaigns across a variety of categories and clients, including American Express, Gallo, Philips, Unilever, and New Balance, to name a few.

Pam has been a Bronxville resident since 2014, and her two growing boys attend The Bronxville School. Pam has volunteered for The Community Fund for four years as an agency evaluator and is thrilled to be a board member where she can blend her marketing expertise with her passion and commitment to our community.

Katrina Nay

Evaluations Co-Chair

Katrina received a BA in Psychology from Vanderbilt University and an MSW from Columbia University. After working in direct practice for several years, she transitioned to working in development for organizations focused on children and education.

Katrina and her husband, Chris, have lived in Bronxville since 2013 and have two children who attend The Bronxville School. In addition to serving as an evaluator for the Community Fund for the past four years, her volunteer interests include alumni engagement for Vanderbilt University and a variety of roles within the Bronxville School PTA, including serving on the Executive Board as PTA Treasurer.

Megan O'Grady

Marketing Chair

Megan O’Grady is a 3-year Bronxville resident, where she resides with her husband, James, and children, Cornelius and Maeve. She has spent nearly 20 years as a marketing executive working for companies like Publicis Groupe, Hearst Magazines and Dentsu. Currently, Megan leads the relationship with Citi’s Global Marketing Team on behalf of Publicis, a global advertising and communications company. She is excited to join the Board of The Community Fund to further awareness of the incredible work being done by TCF in lower Westchester, particularly among newer area residents, and to increase participation in TCF activities.

Maria McHugh Sayegh

Campaign Lead Chair

Maria is a lifelong resident of the Town of Eastchester, where she was born and raised, and continues to raise her family. Maria previously served as a Village of Tuckahoe Trustee and has been deeply involved in her four sons’ education, serving as a member of the Tuckahoe PTA and President of the Mothers’ Auxiliary at Iona Preparatory School.

In the aftermath of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, Maria was appointed by Governor George E. Pataki to the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, and she also joined the Advisory Board of Tuesday’s Children, which supports the children of 9/11 victims. Maria and her family are parishioners of St. Joseph’s Church in Bronxville and support numerous charities, including The Community Fund, Radical Hope, The Robinhood Foundation, and Project Reach.

Donato Vaccaro

Campaign Vice Chair

Donato Vaccaro resides in Eastchester and works as a licensed psychologist at LifeStance Health and as a business development executive at Verasight, a market research firm. His work spans 3 decades as a social scientist and mental health care provider.   For more than twenty years, Donato volunteered in the Eastchester community coaching youth sports. He has also helped with the local census and currently serves on Eastchester’s Traffic Parking and Advisory Committee.

Donato hails from one of the largest and oldest families in Eastchester, with roots tracing back over 100 years to his four grandparents who settled in Tuckahoe and Eastchester.

Outside of work, Donato enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and biking. He also appreciates dining out and listening to local live music with friends and family.

Shannon McDonough

Executive Director

Shannon McDonough comes to The Community Fund equipped with over 20 years leading strategic institutional initiatives across private, academic, and nonprofit sectors. Most recently she scaled operations and led digital and marketing strategy for national service organization Lifetime Arts, a 501c3 that catalyzes and connects the people, funding, practical strategies, and bold ideas necessary to embrace all older adults as creative and social learners. While at Lifetime Arts Shannon collaborated with The Institute for Museum and Library Sciences; the American Alliance of Museums; the National Assembly of State Arts agencies; the Michelson Foundation; the MetLife Foundation; a variety of state libraries, arts, aging, and veterans’ services agencies; as well as NYC-based foundations such as the Fan Fox and Leslie R. Samuels Foundation, and the Laurie M. Tisch Foundation.

Previously Shannon led digital strategy, talent development, and communications roles at Harvard Business Publishing, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, Harvard Law School, Stonehill College, Conde Nast Publications, and DDB Worldwide/Omnicom Group Inc. Shannon holds a MS in library and information science from Simmons University, and a BA in English Literature from Stonehill College. Prior to moving to Tuckahoe, Shannon lived in Massachusetts for a dozen years, did stints in Southern California and Brooklyn, and is originally from Pelham, NY.
