The Community Fund of Bronxville Eastchester Tuckahoe has appointed Amy Rutter Korb as its new executive director. “I’m so pleased to join The Community Fund staff,” exclaimed Korb. “I know firsthand the impact that The Community Fund has on the Bronxville, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe area, and I look forward to furthering its mission and working with our partners.”
A current resident of Bronxville, Korb has been an active volunteer throughout the community for many years. In addition to 10 years of service in the Junior League of Bronxville, she has taken on active fundraising and governance roles while serving on the boards of both the Bereavement Center of Westchester and The Bronxville School.
Prior to her appointment, Korb served on The Community Fund’s board of directors and was co-chair of grant evaluation for the 2016-2017 fiscal year.
Korb received her BS from the University of Delaware and spent 10 years in product development for Macy’s in New York and San Francisco before having her two children.
Jim Rotenberg, 2017-2018 board president, enthusiastically stated, “Amy has been a fixture in the non-profit sector for many years and has been an active and effective board member for many organizations, including The Community Fund. We are lucky to have a person with such energy and heart shaping The Community Fund for the future.”
