The Community Fund Announces New Board Members

The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe (TCF) is pleased to announce the appointment of four new board members, Lisa Dawson, Wendy Halley, Tania Neild, and Phil Preis, and the executive committee for 2020-21.

“Our Board of Directors is comprised of a dedicated team of leaders committed to our community,” said Amy Korb, Executive Director of TCF. “We are excited to channel Lisa, Wendy, Tania, and Phi’s talent, expertise, and energy into furthering our mission.”

Lisa Dawson has been an active volunteer in the community since moving from England in 2001. She spent many years fundraising for the Bronxville High School drama department and assisting backstage for dozens of Bronxville High School plays and musicals. Lisa has served as a Concordia Conservatory board member, a Meals on Wheels volunteer, and a Community Fund Evaluator. Lisa received a BA in English from the University of Richmond, UK, and a JD from the University of Hertfordshire, UK. She works with a labor and employment attorney team in New York City. Lisa and her husband, Keith, have three children who graduated from The Bronxville School.

Wendy Halley is an attorney and business development executive. She currently acts as a legal consultant for media and tech companies. After practicing at Skadden Arps and Morrison & Foerster, Wendy worked in-house at an artist management company. She spent over a decade at Yahoo leading its media legal transactions team and in business development. She received her JD from New York University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Wendy resides with her husband and three children in Bronxville. She has been an active volunteer with the Bronxville School PTA and within the community, including as a Community Fund Evaluator.

Tania Neild is running her third company, InfoGrate, an information technology consulting company. Before that, she was the CTO and COO of Private Client Resources, and before that, she co-founded Envestnet, which went public in the fall of 2010. Dr. Neild began her career as a scientist for the National Security Agency. She earned a Ph.D. in engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s in mathematics from Emory University. She is an active member of the Advisory Council for McCormick’s School of Engineering at Northwestern, a long-time Bronxville Field Club member, a sustaining member of the Junior League of Bronxville, a Community Fund Evaluator, and a yoga enthusiast. She is a Bronxville mom of 4 children who has been happily married to her college sweetheart for over 20 years.

Phil Preis is a managing director at Dundon Advisers LLC and a leading restructuring advisor. Before joining Dundon Advisers, Phil had over 16 years of investment banking experience at UBS Investment Bank and Houlihan Lokey. At UBS, Phil advised on merger and acquisition transactions involving financial institutions (e.g., banks and asset managers). More recently, Phil was in the restructuring investment banking group at Houlihan Lokey for 12 years. Phil holds a BS in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business. Phil is married to the love of his life, Emelie. They have three children and two pugs.
