How do grantees become member agencies?

Generally speaking, at the Board’s discretion, agencies (501c3 organizations) are invited to member agency status after 1 or more successful discretionary grant cycles.

In some cases, The Fund will reach out to a new organization when situations or emergencies warrant certain services or programs. Usually initial funding is granted via the discretionary fund, and should the relationship prove fruitful for our service area, the organization may be invited to join the roster as a conditional member. At this stage, the agency would apply for annual funding via the member agency process. Following that, the agency may be made a full member.
